De'Anthony Melton drops season-high 17 points on the Nuggets

De'Anthony Melton produced 17 points (6-9 FG, 1-3 3PT, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block across 13 minutes in Saturday's 119-110 loss to the Nuggets.

Fantasy Impact

Melton has recorded at least 2 thefts in his last five contests. Despite averaging 16 minutes a game, Melton does a little bit of everything to hold value in standard leagues. He is averaging 7.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.5 triples across 22 games this year. The Grizzlies next scheduled game is Sunday, home against the Hornets.

De'Anthony Melton logs two steals in Saturday's loss

De'Anthony Melton contributed six points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3PT, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals across 20 minutes in Saturday's 126-112 loss to Utah.

Fantasy Impact

Melton picked up two quick fouls and gave way to Tyus Jones the rest of the game. Melton is averaging 5.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals across 11 games this year. Melton's playing time depends on how Tyus Jones is performing and is a deep league option only. The Grizzlies next scheduled game is Monday, away against the Warriors.

De'Anthony Melton outplays Tyus Jones on Monday

De'Anthony Melton finished with 16 points (6-for-10 FG, 1-for-2 3Pt, 3-for-3 FT), nine rebounds, and four assists in 25 minutes off the bench in a loss to the Pacers on Monday.

Fantasy Impact

Tyus Jones wasn't able to take advantage in his first start since Ja Morant went down with a back injury so Melton could take over if Jones isn't able to step up. Melton would be worth a look right now regardless of starting or not.

De'Anthony Melton posts solid stat line in loss

De'Anthony Melton ended with 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3PT, 0-0 FT), three rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 20 minutes during Saturday's 138-122 victory over the Mavericks.

Fantasy Impact

Melton came off the bench Saturday, moving into the rotation with Ja Morant (rest) given the night off. In his first meaningful minutes of the season, Melton was able to contribute in multiple categories including racking up a pair of steals. With Morant and Tyus Jones ahead of him, Melton is going to struggle to accumulate minutes moving forward. He is only worth rostering in deep league formats. The Grizzlies next scheduled game is Monday, away against the Spurs.

De'Anthony Melton (ankle) likely to return for Suns on Thursday

De'Anthony Melton (ankle) is no longer listed on the Phoenix injury report and is likely to return to action Thursday in Cleveland.

Fantasy Impact

Melton has sat out almost a month after injuring his ankle in a game January 24 against Portland. Melton only really deserves fantasy consideration when Devin Booker is injured. He can be left on waivers despite his return to the rotation.
