Delon Wright is off the injury report for Friday's game against the Kings.
Fantasy Impact
Wright has missed nearly 30 games and been sidelined since October 25 due to his hamstring injury. He will likely be eased back early on after missing so much time so fantasy manager should be cautious.
The Wizards are "hopeful" Delon Wright can return to the court on Thursday against the Jazz.
Fantasy Impact
Wright suffered a significant right-hamstring strain on October 25 and hasn't played since. He will likely be eased back initially having missed so much time. His return shouldn't impact fantasy managers too much.
Delon Wright has a grade two hamstring strain that will knock him out for 6-8 weeks.
Fantasy Impact
Wright suffered the injury during Tuesday's game, and he is expected to miss multiple weeks. The timetable is only a rough estimate, and he could end up being out for more or less time than they're predicting. Fantasy managers can look for Daniel Gafford and Corey Kispert to see additional run in Wright's extended absence.
Delon Wright played 16 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Pistons, scoring 5 points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3P, 0-0 FT) to go along with two rebounds, three assists, a block, and four steals before exiting early in the fourth quarter with right hamstring tightness.
Fantasy Impact
If Wright is to miss time, it would be a harsh blow to the Wizards’ roster. The 10-year point guard has been huge for them off the bench, and his defensive presence would be difficult to replace. Veteran guard Monte Morris stepped in for Wright when he exited Tuesday’s game, so he would be a candidate to pick up some additional minutes, with Bradley Beal likely tasked with taking on more of a playmaking role, as well.
Delon Wright headed to the locker room during Monday’s game against the Pistons and will not return due to right hamstring tightness.
Fantasy Impact
Wright hobbled to the locker room late in Tuesday's game seemingly in a lot of pain. He remains in the locker room, still being evaluated. Stay tuned as more details become available on the severity of the injury, and whether or not Wright will miss significant playing time.
