Carroll has not appeared in the Rockets last two contests, but is expected to play Thursday. He is averaging 4.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks across 18 games this year. Carroll is best left on the waiver wire in all league formats.
Jonathan Feigen on Twitter is reporting that the Rockets have listed DeMarre Carroll as questionable for Thursday’s match-up with the Clippers due to an illness.
Carroll can be left on waiver wires as he mainly comes off the bench when needed to give the starters a breather. His contribution has mainly been rebounding, steals, and blocks but he does not play enough minutes to relevant at this time.

Carroll (coach’s decision) has sat out five consecutive games. He doesn’t factor into the Spurs rotation and is not part of the team's long-term plans. Carroll will need a change of scenery before he can be counted on in fantasy. The 33-year old should be left on the waiver wire for now. His next chance to play will be Monday’s tilt against the Suns.
DeMarre Carroll made his Spurs debut on Friday against the Warriors playing 17 minutes. Carroll finished with two points, two rebounds, two assists, and one block.
Carroll could be looking at more minutes as the season progresses. With Carroll back, Rudy Gay, Marco Belinelli, and Trey Lyles will all get a downgrade.
DeMarre Carroll finished with 20 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one block in 35 minutes. Carroll finished going 6-for-14 from the field and 2-for-6 from three.
This was a nice game for the veteran and he's now scored in double-digits in four of his past five games. He's a solid option as you know what you're getting from him each night.
