Derrick Rose drops 29 points in win over the Wizards

Derrick Rose finished with 29 points on 13-of-23 shooting (0-of-2 from deep, 3-of-4 from the charity stripe), and grabbed three rebounds, three assists, and one steal while logging 30 minutes in Minnesota's 135-130 overtime win over Washington on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact

Rose had another great night coming off the bench for the Wolves, dropping 29 points including a shot late in overtime that all but sealed the game for Minnesota. Rose continues to be the Wolves best scorer outside of Karl-Anthony Towns, and with Towns suffering a knee injury late in the 4th quarter, the Wolves may be relying on Rose now more than ever.

Derrick Rose quiet in loss to Detroit

Derrick Rose finished with 8 points on 4-of-9 shooting (0-of-1 from deep), and grabbed two assists and one rebound while logging 19 minutes in Minnesota's 114-131 loss to Detroit on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Rose didn't contribute much in the stat column versus Detroit, partly due to the fact that Tyus Jones got a bump in minutes, but Rose is still one of the Wolves' best scorers, and as long as stays healthy is worth starting in most leagues.
