White is dealing with a hip issue, but he is not expected to miss the second leg of the Boston Celtics' back-to-back. This season, he is averaging 11.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, six assists and 1.7 steals in 29 minutes per game.

Derrick White scored five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3PT) to go with six rebounds and three steals in Monday night's 134-99 win over the Chicago Bulls.

The Celtics were able to pick up an easy win over the Bulls on Monday night, but White wasn't really able to get in on the action. He scored just five points on the night, and although he contributed well in a couple other areas of the game, he also had six turnovers, which further hurt his fantasy total. He should bounce back and return to form sometime within the next few games, however.

Derrick White scored 17 points (7-13 FG, 3-7 3PT) and handed out eight assists in Tuesday's 121-113 loss to the Pistons.

White gave the Celtics a solid season-opening performance on Tuesday. A three-time All-Defensive Team selection, White had things dialed in on the offensive end in this one as well. White should once again be a steady source of threes, assists, and defensive stats for fantasy managers this season.

The Timberwolves reportedly have strong interest in Derrick White.

White still has two more years left in his deal before he reaches a player option. This would have to be a trade this offseason, likely more so if Boston acquires Giannis Antetokounmpo.
