Free-agent guard Devin Cannady and the Orlando Magic have agreed to terms on a 10-day deal.
Fantasy Impact
Cannady is planning to sign with the Orlando Magic on a 10-day deal. The team isn't in any kind of contention this season, so they are likely trying to see what he has to gauge giving him a contract this off-season. He hasn't played much basketball this season, and he likely won't have a big impact on the rotation.
Devin Cannady scored 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3PT) with three rebounds and two steals across 24 minutes during Thursday's 135-100 blowout loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Fantasy Impact
The rookie guard out of Princeton made the most of a game that was over early in the third quarter, draining three triples and forcing two steals in 24 minutes. He is a risky option in starting lineups but can be added in virtually all leagues off waivers as a good depth piece.
