Eligibility
Devin Vassell scored 24 points (10-19 FG, 4-10 3PT) and grabbed four rebounds in Friday's 118-112 loss to the Golden State Warriors.
Fantasy Impact
Vassell came off of the bench on Friday, but he still played 27 minutes and was able to put up some very good numbers in that time. He led the team in scoring with 24 points, and although he wasn't particularly effective in other areas of the game, his efficiency allowed him to have a respectable outing in most fantasy formats. He's a good fantasy option when he's fully healthy and on the court in an unrestricted manner for the Spurs.
Devin Vassell provided a spark off of the bench for the Spurs Wednesday night, scoring 18 points (6-15 FG, 2-8 3PT, 4-5 FT) while also dishing out four assists, recording one steal, and grabbing four rebounds in a 109-102 loss to the Clippers.
Fantasy Impact
Vassell has been steady on the floor of late, finishing with at least 12 points, four assists, and three rebounds in each of his last four games for the Spurs. The 23-year-old has been a mostly consistent option no matter the role under head coach Greg Popovich, averaging 17.4 points, 2.9 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game to go along with a 22.1% usage rate so far this season.
Devin Vassell has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Clippers.
Fantasy Impact
Vassell will miss his third straight game. Julian Champagnie should see another spot start in his absence and is worthy of a streamer in deeper leagues.
Devin Vassell dropped 29 points (8-16 FG, 6-11 3PT, 7-9 FT) while also dishing out four assists, recording one steal, and grabbing three rebounds in the Spurs' 117-110 loss to the Timberwolves.
Fantasy Impact
Vassell continues to provide a solid scoring option of late, finishing with at least 14 points in four of his last five games for the Spurs. The 23-year-old will look to continue to operate as a primary option in a San Antonio offense centered around No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama, averaging 18.6 points per game to go along with a 22.3% usage rate so far this season.
Devin Vassell (adductor) is doubtful to play in Wednesday night's game against the New York Knicks.
Fantasy Impact
Vassell is set to miss his third-straight game on Wednesday because of a lingering adductor injury. It's unclear when exactly he will take the court again, but with this kind of injury, it shouldn't take more than a week or two at most. Fantasy managers can look for Tre Jones and Devonte' Graham to get more work in his continued absence against the Knicks.
