Eligibility
Deyonte Davis agrees to terms with the Golden State on Thursday. The Warriors waived Will Cherry in a corresponding move. With Davis West retired, no more Zaza Pachulia and JaVale McGee, the Warriors are thin at C behind Damion Jones until DeMarcus Cousins returns in November or December.
Fantasy Impact
Davis could make the roster and would be a solid addition to the Warriors bench as he filled in well last season for Marc Gasol when he rested. Davis is not a fantasy option but Jones is a late-round flier until Boogie Cousins returns.
The Sacramento Kings have waived Deyonta Davis, who was acquired in the Garrett Temple trade.
Fantasy Impact
It shouldn't take long for Davis to find a home, and hopefully he'll get some playing time, because he's a talented kid.
Deyonte Davis has been ruled out for Saturday's game versus the Magic with an ankle injury. Marc Gasol is also out so Ivan Rabb and Brice Johnson will see more minutes.
Fantasy Impact
If JaMychal Green can play, he will be a must-start in all leagues with so many injuries to the Grizzlies starters. Jarell Martin should see 35 plus minutes so he's also a solid option in DFS. Chandler Parsons should see 15-20 minutes but is off the fantasy radar. Ivan Rabb could get 10 boards but is a risky DFS play.
Deyonte Davis got a spot start on Saturday with the Grizzlies resting Marc Gasol. Davis played well scoring 14 points while grabbing seven rebounds in just 23 minutes. Davis failed to add any other stats.
Fantasy Impact
Davis is only a DFS option whenever Gasol sits out for rest. Leave him on the waiver wire but keep an eye on him late in the season if Gasol gets shut down.
Deyonte Davis will not play on Wednesday versus the Pacers as both knees are sore. Brandan Wright will backup Marc Gasol in this contest.
Fantasy Impact
Davis was playing well and the Grizzlies are always playing shorthanded with so many injuries. Wright gets a bump but is off the fantasy radar.
