Elijah Milsap sustained a concussion against the Charlotte Hornets Monday. He is expected to return against the Wizards Wednesday
Elijah Milsap continues to be used off the bench as more of a defensive presence. Not too much of that will fill up the box score. He has averaged over a steal per game over his last ten games.
In 27 minutes on Monday, rookie Elijah Millsap had four points (2-8 from the field and 0-3 from behind the arc), seven rebounds, three steals, two assists and two turnovers.
It was another decent performance while coming off of the bench for Millsap, but he's only a realistic option for fantasy teams in the deepest of fantasy leagues.
In a win over the trail Blazers on Friday, rookie Elijah Millsap scored nine points (3-7 from the field and 3-6 from three-point range), grabbed seven rebounds, dished out one assist and turned the ball over once in 26 minutes.
Millsap should only be used in the deepest of fantasy leagues.
In 37 minutes played, Elijah Millsap had 10 points (three-for-eight from the field, one-for-five from three-point range and three-for-four from the line), eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and three turnovers against the Mavericks.
Rookie Millsap has been a nice fill-in starter for the Jazz of late, but he should be back to playing from his bench role again once rookie Joe Ingles is back at some point after the All-Star break. Consider holding on to Millsap for now in only the deepest of fantasy leagues.
Jazz guard Elijah Millsap puts up the following numbers in Monday's win over the Pelicans: two points (one-for-eight from the field, zero-for-one from three-point range and zero-for-two from the line), four steals, seven rebounds, two blocks and two assists in 37 minutes of action.
Millsap's seven rebounds also tied his career-best mark, but he is still a fantasy player that all fantasy teams should avoid picking up right now.
