Mobley has been seen as a key building block for the Cavaliers since being drafted by the team and they now have Donovan Mitchell and Mobley locked up for the long haul. With Jarrett Allen under contract for at least two more seasons, the Cavs will be looking to improve the role players around their big three to make a deep playoff run in the 2024-25 season.

If Mobley agrees to the max contract extension, Allen could be moved in a trade which would open the door for an even bigger season from Mobley next season.
