McDaniels has now recorded seven double-figure scoring games in his last 12. He still hasn't been consistent enough to be rostered in 12-team leagues, but is worth owning in deeper formats.

Tonight marked McDaniels' fourth straight double-figure scoring effort. A key reason for this is coach Chris Finch ramping up his minutes to the mid-30s. As long as McDaniels continues to see this amount of action each contest, he is worth rostering in all formats. He'll look to keep rolling against the Grizzlies on Friday night.

McDaniels was coming off six straight games of single-digit scoring efforts, but broke that streak tonight, as he fired in 100% of his field goal and free throw attempts. The rookie out of Washington has certainly showed plenty of promise and provides a ton of value on defense. For now, however, McDaniels should remain on the waiver wire until he can get more consistent on offense.

This was easily McDaniels' best game of his career, as he knocked down 8-of-9 shots from the field, picked up two steals, and swatted three shots. However, fantasy managers in deeper leagues will want to see more consistency out of McDaniels prior to adding him.

He additionally recorded a team-high +/- of +19, despite the tough loss. It's too early to recommend managers in deeper leagues to pick up McDaniels, but he should be on watchlists.
