Jalen Suggs fills the stat sheet in win over the Hornets

Jalen Suggs totaled 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3PT), five rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocks in the Magic’s 130-117 win over the Hornets.

Fantasy Impact

Suggs filled the stat sheet in the Magic’s win over the Hornets continuing to demonstrate his ability to produce value as a multi-categorical contributor. He has been a solid fantasy asset early this season and will look to improve on his early season success against the Wizards. The team has increased his time on the floor, which should’ve been a strong bet for his increased production; however, he hasn’t been able to translate his increase in opportunity to increased fantasy value just yet. If Suggs can increase his production, he could elevate his fantasy appeal from high-end streamer to must-roster asset. He has a usage rate of 19.5 percent, a plus-minus of 2.4, and is averaging 27.1 minutes, 12.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.9 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game while shooting 43.5 percent from the floor and 36.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Jalen Suggs drops 18 points in win Sunday

Jalen Suggs recorded 18 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3PT, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, one assist, and one steal across 18 minutes of Sunday’s 129-116 win over the Pacers.

Fantasy Impact

Suggs, who missed Friday’s win over the Bulls, was back in action for Sunday’s matchup against the Pacers. While he only played 18 minutes, primarily due to the game script, he had one of his best scoring nights this season. The former Gonzaga Bulldog’s game has dramatically improved in his third year, averaging a career-best in points (11.9), three-point percentage (33.3%), free throw percentage (82.4%), rebounds (4.1), and steals (2.2). Suggs is rostered in 66% of leagues, averaging 22.5 fantasy points per game. He's a player to watch and one worth rostering if you have the available roster space.

Jalen Suggs chips in 20 points Saturday against Bucks

Jalen Suggs chipped in 20 points (5-11 FG, 2-4 3PT, 8-10 FT) while also dishing out two assists, recording one steal, and grabbing two rebounds in a 112-97 win over the Bucks.

Fantasy Impact

Suggs has been steady on the offensive end of the floor of late, dropping at least 20 points in each of the last two games for the Magic. The guard has explosive scoring potential, but continues to fight consistency issues on the floor, averaging 12.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game to go along with a 19.4% usage rate so far this season.

Jalen Suggs registers six steals in loss Thursday

Jalen Suggs put up a team-high 21 points (7-10 FG, 4-5 3PT, 3-6 FT) and logged six steals in Thursday's 120-119 loss to the Atlanta Hawks.

Fantasy Impact

It was impressive enough that Suggs led the team in scoring on Thursday, but his defensive performance turned out to be even more impressive. He logged six steals over the course of the night, which was by far the most out of anybody on the team. He's had his ups and downs so far this year but remains a viable fantasy option moving forward.

Jalen Suggs leads team in assists Monday

Jalen Suggs scored ten points (4-12 FG, 1-6 3PT, 1-2 FT) and dished out a team-high seven assists in Monday's 117-102 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Fantasy Impact

Orlando didn't have a great day as a team on Monday, and that extended to Suggs. He led the team in assists, but that was with just seven over the course of the day and also ended with just ten points on inefficient scoring. He's been okay from a fantasy standpoint so far this year but will be nothing more than a flex option for the foreseeable future.
