James Michael McAdoo has been waived by the 76ers to clear a spot for Demetrius Jackson.

McAdoo wasn't a fantasy option in Golden State and that isn't likely to change in Philadelphia. Joel Embiid and Dario Saric are locked in and are solid mid-round picks this season.

James McAdoo left the game on Tuesday against the Rockets after suffering a head injury. Early in the first quarter, Rockets forward Trevor Ariza fell over on to McAdoo leaving him bloody. McAdoo did not suffer a concussion, but did receive seven stitches above his eye and will not return Tuesday.

McAdoo got injured early in the first quarter after he only saw the court for three minutes off the bench. There is no timetable for his injury at this time.
