According to his agent David Falk, the 25 year old forwards is "exploring the opportunity" of signing with the Brooklyn Nets.

Fantasy Impact

Sullinger only played 11 games with the Toronto Raptors before being traded to and waived by the Phoenix Suns. He had some productive seasons with the Boston Celtics, and could carve a decent role with the rebuilding Nets. For his career, he has 10.8 points and 7.5 rebounds.

Jared Sullinger has been waived by the Suns one day after being traded to the Suns for P.J. Tucker. Sullinger should be able to find a new team quickly but his conditioning has been an issue all season after offseason foot surgery.

Fantasy Impact

Sullinger needs to be left on the waiver wire as the Suns are moving to their youth movement. Marquese Chriss and Dragan Bender should see plenty of run.

Jared Sullinger has been traded to the Suns in exchange for P.J. Tucker. The Suns also receive two second-round draft picks as the Raptors looked to replace Terrence Ross. Sullinger will likely come off the bench and mentor young Marquese Chriss.

Sullinger gets a boost in value but not enough for owners to have to rush to grab him on the open market. Sullinger hopes to provide a veteran presence alongside Tyson Chandler. T.J. Warren is the fantasy winner in this trade.

With Serge Ibaka in town, it makes sense for the Raptors to deal Sullinger. The question is if there are any teams willing to take Sullinger whose play is declining but is on a one-year deal. Sullinger shouldn't be owned and a trade to another team won't make a difference. Serge Ibaka's arrival also hurts Jonas Valanciunas.

Jared Sullinger did not play-coach's decision in Toronto's 90-85 victory over the Charlotte Hornets. He returned from his D-league stint on Tuesday, a request that he made in an attempt to get back into playing shape. In his lone game with the Raptors 905, Sullinger recorded 16 points and had 10 boards.

Fantasy Impact

It will be hard to tell what Toronto head coach Dwane Casey has in mind for his big men and the rotation. After the guaranteed minutes of Jonas Valanciunas and Serge Ibaka, the remaining will be divided up between Sullinger, Jakob Poeltl, Lucas Nogueira, Pascal Siakam and Patrick Patterson. How they will be divided is a mystery so it can be expected that Sullinger making any kind of fantasy impact is highly unlikely at this time.
