Jarrett Jack has been waived by the Pelicans on Saturday. Jack had an outside chance to crack the 15 man roster but the team will go with Frank Jackson behind Elfrid Payton at the point.

Fantasy Impact

Jack could be headed overseas if he doesn't find a team before the season starts. It's possible the Spurs take a chance on Jack.

Jarrett Jack has agreed to a one-year deal with the Pelicans. Jack played in New York last season and the Pelicans the season before. Jack could've signed with a contender if the Knicks agreed to a buyout with the veteran.

Fantasy Impact

Jack was a solid option in deeper leagues at the point guard spot until the Knicks turned over to the youth movement. Jack will be behind Elfrid Payton and Jrue Holiday so he's off the fantasy radar.

Jarrett Jack will not play in the regular season barring an injury as the team continues to start Emmanuel Mudiay, who was recently acquired before the deadline, Trey Burke, and Frank Ntilikina.

Fantasy Impact

Jack didn't want to accept a buyout and now will not be able to help a contender down the stretch as he will sit the bench with the likes of Joakim Noah the rest of the season. Mudiay and Burke are must-owns right now and solid DFS options to pair with a stud PG.

Jarrett Jack scored five points, had two rebounds, and five assists in 28 minutes in a 118-113 loss to the Wizards.

Jarrett Jack on the season is averaging 7.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.1 rebounds a game. Jarrett Jack most likely won't be much of a fantasy impact the rest of the season because Emmanuel Mudiay and Frank Ntilikina will most likely get the balk of the minutes at point guard.

Jarrett Jack scored 11 points, had seven rebounds, and seven assists in 32 minutes in a 92-90 loss to the Bucks.

Jarrett Jack on the season is averaging 7.7 points, 6.2 assists, and 3.4 rebounds a game. He can be a good play Sunday versus the Hawks because in two games against them this season he is averaging 14.5 points and nine assists.
