Javon Small scored 14 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 3PT, 1-2 FT) and dished out seven assists in Wednesday's 117-98 loss to the Phoenix Suns.

Small was a good contributor off of the bench on Wednesday, finishing with 14 points and leading the team with seven assists through 21 minutes of action. His five turnovers were less than ideal, however, and he is expected to see a slight decrease in work whenever Ja Morant (calf) is back in the lineup for the Grizzlies.

The Memphis Grizzlies announced that Javon Small is progressing well in his rehabilitation for a turf toe injury in his left foot and is expected to return to play in three to five weeks.

Small last played on November 5 as he continues to recover from turf toe. In his absence, Cam Spencer and Vince Williams Jr. will continue to see expanded minutes.
