Javon Small scored 14 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 3PT, 1-2 FT) and dished out seven assists in Wednesday's 117-98 loss to the Phoenix Suns.
Fantasy Impact
Small was a good contributor off of the bench on Wednesday, finishing with 14 points and leading the team with seven assists through 21 minutes of action. His five turnovers were less than ideal, however, and he is expected to see a slight decrease in work whenever Ja Morant (calf) is back in the lineup for the Grizzlies.
The Memphis Grizzlies announced that Javon Small is progressing well in his rehabilitation for a turf toe injury in his left foot and is expected to return to play in three to five weeks.
Fantasy Impact
Small last played on November 5 as he continues to recover from turf toe. In his absence, Cam Spencer and Vince Williams Jr. will continue to see expanded minutes.
Javon Small (toe) will be re-evaluated in three weeks. He’s been out since being diagnosed with turf toe on Nov. 8.
Fantasy Impact
Memphis will remain without Small until at least early December, leaving their guard depth unchanged for now.
Small will remain sidelined for Wednesday’s game against the Warriors due to a toe injury. The guard will miss his third consecutive contest and has yet to receive a clear timetable for his return.
Fantasy Impact
With Small still unavailable, Memphis’ backcourt rotation should continue to feature expanded minutes for Cam Spencer, John Konchar and Vince Williams.
Javon Small (toe) will be sidelined for Tuesday's game against the New York Knicks.
Fantasy Impact
Small is not going to be available to play on Tuesday, as he is still dealing with lingering soreness in his toe. He doesn't see much work for the Grizzlies even when active and available to play, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect Memphis' rotation to change much due to his absence.
