Jawun Evans plays career-high 26 minutes on Tuesday

Jawun Evans scored four points to go with three boards, three dimes and two steals in 26 minutes of action off the bench.

Fantasy Impact

With Booker still out Evans was the only other guy to play point guard behind De'Anthony Melton on Tuesday with Elie Okobo now in the G-League. Though Booker seems close to a return, Evans could be a decent deep league add in the meantime, though Melton is definitely the hot hand right now.

Jawun Evans joins the Suns

Jawun Evans agreed to a two-way deal on Friday with the Phoenix Suns.

Fantasy Impact

Evans is purely depth as the team surprisingly waived Isaiah Canaan and Devin Booker is out again with an injury as well as TJ Warren.

Jawun Evans (hernia) out for season

Jawun Evans will undergo sports hernia surgery effectively ending his season. Evans played in 48 games this season and should be back at a measly $1.3 million next season.

Fantasy Impact

Tyrone Wallace will see more minutes over the last few games while Avery Bradley is also out for the season. The Clippers just need to get healthy for next season so Evans will be off the re-draft radar.

Jawun Evans plays 40 minutes against the Wizards

Jawun Evans played 40 minutes against the Wizards on Friday night. He shot 7-for-18 from the field and 1-for-3 from the field. He finished the night with 15 points, six assists, six rebounds, five steals and two turnovers.

Fantasy Impact

Evans obviously was getting run because both Austin Rivers and Milos Teodosic were out. Evans showed up and had a great night and got big minutes in the game. He has shown he should get some more run going forward but it's anybody's guess if Doc Rivers will actually give him more minutes. Evans is worth monitoring over the next few weeks to see if he earns more minutes in the rotation.
