The Portland Trail Blazers announced that they have officially signed Jaylen Adams for the remainder of the season.

A star of the 2019-2020 G-League, Adams earned his spot on the Blazers roster and will may get a legitimate shot at showcasing his talents in Orlando once the season resumes. On the year, Adams put up 21.5 points, 5.7 assists, 5.1 rebounds, and a whopping 1.7 steals across 33 games this season with the Wisconsin Herd.

Adams averaged 21.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.8 steals in 33 games for the G League’s Wisconsin Herd this season. He also shot 41 percent from deep on 6.4 attempts per game. He’s a 6 ft PG, so not a direct replacement for Ariza at his small forward position, but Adams can certainly put the ball in the basket. Solid pickup for the Blazers as they enter the “bubble” next month at Walt Disney World.
