Jimmy Butler (toe) ruled out for Wednesday

NBA.com is listing Jimmy Butler as out for Wednesday’s match-up with the Hornets due to a toe injury.

Fantasy Impact

With Butler out look for Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic to help compensate the missing forward’s contribution. Also Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn are both active which will help the Heat’s chances winning tonight. Pick-up Herro if he’s available in your league.

Jimmy Butler (toe) doesn’t practice Tuesday

Jimmy Butler (toe) didn’t practice on Tuesday, but was feeling better, per Coach Erik Spoelstra.

Fantasy Impact

Miami hasn’t yet released their official injury report for Wednesday night’s game against Charlotte, but we’ll consider Butler questionable with the toe injury that forced him to leave Sunday’s game early. If he can’t go, look for Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic to shoulder more of the load offensively, with Solomon Hill or Andre Iguodala potentially entering into the starting lineup.

Jimmy Butler hopeful to play Wednesday night

Jimmy Butler left the game on Sunday against the Wizards with a toe injury that was bothering him previously this year.

Fantasy Impact

Erik Spoelstra stated that Butler wanted to keep playing but they wanted to be on the safe side given his injury history. Butler is a top-20 play if he does suit up on Wednesday against the Hornets.

Jimmy Butler (toe) leaves game injured against Wizards

Jimmy Butler managed to score nine points (2-4 Fg, 5-6 Ft) in just 24 minutes and left late in the game due to an injured toe.

Fantasy Impact

Right now there is no telling how long this injury may cause Butler to lose time but the good news is that the Heat are off until Wednesday when they take on the Hornets at home.

Jimmy Butler does it all in loss

Jimmy Butler had a strong game on Friday night as he finished with 28 points on 8-for-17 from the field and 12-for-14 from the free-throw line. Butler also added eight rebounds, six assists, and three steals across 37 minutes.

Fantasy Impact

Butler has been one the best "swiss army knife" players in fantasy this year for owners and continued his great play on Friday. Butler does it all but doesn't shoot the three-ball well enough to be a top-10 player.
