The Knicks and John Konchar have agreed to a one-year deal.
Fantasy Impact
Konchar will compete for a depth role in the Knicks rotation.
The Timberwolves waived John Konchar.
Fantasy Impact
Konchar was waived not long after being traded to Minnesota. He remains off the fantasy radar for now.
John Konchar scored 12 points (4-8 FG, 2-3 3PT, 2-2 FT) to go along with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and one block in the 156-137 loss the Jazz against the Pelicans.
Fantasy Impact
Despite coming off the bench, Konchar still managed to play 38 minutes and took full advantage of the opportunity. He should continue to see plenty of run in the final two games of the season for Utah.
Konchar had managed just 16 points across his prior four appearances combined, making Monday's season-high 19-point effort against the Raptors a notable outlier — 19 points (4-of-5 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), three rebounds, three three-pointers, one block, and one assist.
Fantasy Impact
A perfect night from the free-throw line did the heavy lifting, but he was also 3-of-4 from deep. The 23-minute workload keeps the ceiling limited, and fantasy managers should temper expectations given Utah's rotation priorities down the stretch.
John Konchar is now probable for Saturday's game against the 76ers.
Fantasy Impact
Konchar was initially listed as questionable. He should be good to go in his usual role.
