Jonah Bolden
F - PHI
Ownership
Eligibility
Jonah Bolden decided to pull out from Team Australia prior to the FIBA World Cup. He followed the footsteps of Ben Simmons, who additionally withdrew from the team a few weeks back.
Fantasy Impact
Bolden generally wasn't expected to play a pivotal role for Australia, though this decreases the risk of injury and should allow him to focus on 76ers training camp. He is not worth a look in drafts.
Jonah Bolden (illness) will be out there for the Sixers when they take on the Bulls on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Bolden has been pretty good with Joel Embiid out, and the Sixers superstar will be out again on Wednesday so expect Bolden to have a solid outing. He's a solid value or punt play in DFS.
Jonah Bolden has been ruled out for Tuesday's game versus the Magic due to an illness.
Fantasy Impact
Amir Johnson is good to go so he will in line for a spot start with both Bolden and Joel Embiid out. Johnson is a cheap value play for Tuesday.
With both Joel Embiid and Boban Marjanovich out with knee injuries, Jonah Bolden got the start on Thursday night, scoring 14 in Philadelphia's 108-104 win over Oklahoma City.
Fantasy Impact
With defensive stalwarts like Steven Adams and Nerlens Noel to contend with, Bolden's 14 points were impressive, especially on a night where the offensive ran through stars such as Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons, and Jimmy Butler. Bolden made the most of his opportunities, missing only one shot from the floor (he went 4-for-4 from inside the arc and made two of his three long ball attempts). While Embiid and Marjanovich are out, Bolden will continue to see valuable minutes and could be a temporary DFS fill-in for those in need of a little scoring boost.
Jonah Bolden scored eight points and pulled down five rebounds as the Sixers pulled off a huge upset against the Warriors on their own floor Thursday night, winning 113-104.
Fantasy Impact
Bolden's eight points were the most he'd scored since his career-high 14 two weeks ago against Minnesota. With stars like Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons firmly entrenched as the Sixers' big men and others such as Wilson Chandler and Mike Muscala also fighting for playing time, Bolden's minutes will remain limited unless someone goes down due to injury.
