Jordan McLaughlin recorded 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3PT, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, nine assists, three steals, and two turnovers in Saturday's loss to Philadelphia.
McLaughlin's six rebounds accounted for a new season-high, while his nine dimes matched his season-high. He took advantage of the absences of D'Angelo Russell and Ricky Rubio tonight, and could serve as a sneaky start on Monday against Sacramento if he remains in the first unit.
Timberwolves guard Jordan McLaughlin (health protocols) is out of Sunday's matchup against the Trail Blazers.
Teammates Malik Beasley and D'Angelo Russell are also out tonight at the guard position. We can expect to see a lot of playing time from Ricky Rubio and Jaylen Nowell today.
Jordan McLaughlin contributed 11 points (5-8 FG, 0-2 3PT, 1-1 FT), two boards, seven assists, and one steal in Friday night's loss to the Raptors.
McLaughlin notched his second double-figure scoring performance in the last three games. However, he hasn't been consistent enough to warrant a roster spot on fantasy teams. At best, McLaughlin could be an assist specialist in deeper leagues, but fantasy managers hopefully already snagged Ricky Rubio off the waiver wire.
Jordan McLaughlin chipped in 15 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 3PT), two boards, five assists, one steal, and two turnovers in Monday's loss to the Warriors.
McLaughlin has recorded two straight games of double-figure scoring with D'Angelo Russell sidelined. He's still pretty difficult to trust in all league formats, but perhaps he's worth a spot-start in deeper leagues on Wednesday night versus the Warriors if Russell remains out.
Jordan McLaughlin totaled five points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3PT, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, and three assists in 19 minutes in the Timberwolves’ 117-111 loss to the Rockets on Tuesday.
McLaughlin was only able to score five points this past Tuesday against the Rockets. Since starting the month off hot, his level of play and playing time have tapered off. He has the talent to be a great source of fantasy production; however, his role within the rotation has been so inconsistent that he is simply undependable at this point. If you are in a deep-league, it would be worth to keep him on your radar and take a wait-and-see approach as he could be a sneaky value play somewhere down the line.
