Eligibility
Warriors F Kelly Oubre Jr. (wrist) has been ruled out for Wednesday night’s game vs. the Trail Blazers.
Fantasy Impact
Oubre apparently hurt his wrist in practice Tuesday after going up for a dunk and slipping off the rim, falling hard to the floor. Kent Bazemore will get the start in his place and makes for a solid value play in DFS.
Kelly Oubre Jr. posted 14 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds and one assist on Sunday as the Lakers trounced the Warriors 117-91.
Fantasy Impact
Oubre shot the ball well on Sunday and that was about the best thing you can say about his performance on Sunday. Oubre did go 60 percent from the field but only mustered five rebounds in a performance that culminated in 20.8 fantasy points (DraftKings). Luckily, managers can likely chalk this one up as a bad night for the team and not one squarely placed on the shoulders of Oubre. The Warriors will attempt to regroup on Wednesday versus Portland.
Kelly Oubre Jr. collected 27 points (11-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal across 38 minutes on Friday.
Fantasy Impact
Oubre may have produced his finest performance of the season on Friday against a tricky Hornets bunch. His 27 points marked his highest total of the campaign and after coming out of the gates a bit shaky this year he's certainly found his footing with Golden State. His performance, which featured an impressive 73.3 field-goal percentage on 15 shots, netted him 41.5 fantasy points (DraftKings) on Friday.
Kelly Oubre Jr. notched 17 points (7-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and five rebounds as the Warriors edged the Pacers on Tuesday by a score of 111-107.
Fantasy Impact
Oubre had a tame showing by his standards on Wednesday. His performance netted him just 23.8 fantasy points (DraftKings), his lowest output over his last ten games. Unfortunately for Oubre managers, he continues to provide little to no production on defense, a truth that stings all the more when compared to his defensive minded floor-mates.
Kelly Oubre Jr. came away with 19 points (8-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, three blocks and two assists in a winning effort on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact
Oubre did an excellent job of flanking a red-hot Stephen Curry on Tuesday night. Oubre grabbed eight key boards and played an integral role defensively as he posted a trio of blocks to stabilize the Golden State defense. Tuesday's performance extended the forward's streak of 13 straight games reaching double-digit points. Oubre continues to be a model of consistency. He now sits at 77 in the rest-of-season rankings.
