Kevon Harris (knee) is unavailable to play in Wednesday's game against the Houston Rockets.
Fantasy Impact
Harris will miss Orlando's first game of the year thanks to lingering right-knee soreness. It shouldn't be a serious issue, and his next chance to play will come on Friday against the Trail Blazers. Gary Harris and Markelle Fultz both may see some additional minutes while the guard is out against Houston on Wednesday.
Kevon Harris finished Sunday’s regular-season finale loss to the Heat with 22 points (7-12 FG, 4-7 3P, 4-7 FT), eight rebounds, and two assists across 27 minutes off the bench.
Fantasy Impact
Rookie Kevon Harris dropped a team-high 22 points in the Magic’s final game of the season Sunday against the Heat. He took full advantage of the additional playing time, logging season highs in minutes, points, rebounds, and threes. It was great to see the young guard end the season on a high note. However, heading into next season he's going to have a tough path to becoming anything more than a depth piece with the abundance of young prospects the Magic have on their roster.
Kevon Harris (rib) will not play in Wednesday's matchup against the Dallas Mavericks.
Fantasy Impact
Harris is dealing with a rib contusion that will leave him sidelined on Wednesday. The exact severity of it remains unknown, and the team has him on a day-to-day timeline for the time being. R.J. Hampton Jr. may see some additional work while he remains out.
Kevon Harris had 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 3P, 2-3 FT) and five rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench during the Magics’ victory over the Warriors Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
With the current state of the Magic's backcourt, Harris is getting some extended run which has resulted in him scoring in double figures in two of the teams' last three games. Still, his fantasy value remains limited to nothing more than a bench stash in the deepest leagues or a cheap, low-rostered dart throw in DFS.
