Maxi Kleber logged four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3PT), 10 rebounds, three assists, and one block in Wednesday's 127-114 win over the Clippers.
Kleber had his most rebounds in a game since entering the bubble but has failed to record double-digit scoring in three straight outings. He's averaging 9.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game this season and is pretty far from fantasy relevance.
Maxi Kleber drew the start at center for the Mavericks during Sunday's scrimmage against the Pacers while Kristaps Porzingis was forced to quarantine after missing a required COVID-19 test yesterday. Kleber played well, scoring 18 points (7-10 FG, 4-6 3-pt) while adding six rebounds and no other statistics.
It is notable that it was Kleber and not Boban Marjanovic who drew the starting assignment at center for Coach Carlisle in Porzingis' absence. Keep this in mind in the event that Porzingis gets injured or is not cleared to return to action soon. However, Kleber likely does not have stand-alone fantasy value as long as Porzingis is in the lineup.
Maxi Kleber scored five points on 2-8 shooting from the field (1-4 3PT), with seven boards, four assists, one steal, five blocks and no turnovers across 39 minutes in a big 127-123 overtime win against Zion Williamson and the Pelicans.
Kleber got the start over Seth Curry tonight for Dallas. That’s a welcome sign for Kleber owners, as he’s been coming off the bench most games that Kristaps Porzingis has been in the starting lineup. Kleber lived up to expectations in this one, blocking five shots in a huge nationally televised game against a very solid New Orleans team. Over his last five games, Kleber is averaging 7.2 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, and less than one turnover per game. He’s efficiently producing across a multitude of categories for fantasy owners, and needs to be owned in all leagues at this point, especially if he continues to start alongside Porzingis.
Maxi Kleber provided 13 points, 10 rebounds, three 3-pointers, three blocks, one assist, and one steal across 34 minutes as the Mavericks lose to the Bulls 107-109 on Monday.
Filling in for the injured Kristaps Porzingis, Kleber stuffed the stat sheet including his double-double. He may be left on waiver wires for the time being, but if Porzingis is to miss any games in the future, Kleber could be used as a streamer in those instances.
Maxi Kleber finished with nine points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3PT, 2-5 FT), five rebounds, two blocks one steal and one turnover across 23 minutes in a 109-103 win against the Spurs on Wednesday.
Kleber continues to see inconsistent fantasy outcomes with the Mavericks at full strength. For Wednesday's contest Kleber was $4800 on FanDuel and fell just shy of hitting his 5x cash-game value, scoring 23 fantasy points. The Mavericks will return to action on Friday when they take on the Miami Heat on the road.
