Mike Scott (back) will play on Thursday

Mike Scott will play on Thursday versus Brooklyn despite a back injury.

Fantasy Impact

Scott is a backup behind Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris but could take minutes and value away from Jonah Bolden.

Mike Scott struggles in 21 minutes of action Wednesday night

In a must-win game against bitter rival Boston on Wednesday, Mike Scott saw 21 minutes of action but could not do much with it, scoring just four points on 1-of-6 shooting from the field (his lone made field goal was a three-pointer late in the first half).

Fantasy Impact

Scott matched his point total with four rebounds on the night while also contributing one steal, assist, and block apiece. Philadelphia's starters saw the lion's share of playing time against the hated Celtics, so Scott will look to get back on track when the Sixers take on the Hawks on Saturday in a game that will almost certainly feature less of each of Philadelphia's starters.

Mike Scott scores eight but commits painful defensive mistake late in loss

Mike Scott scored eight points and added five rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench for Philadelphia Wednesday night, but a late defensive miscue which led to a layup-and-foul for Chicago's Zach LaVine will be what's remembered about Scott's performance in the Sixers' loss to the Bulls.

Fantasy Impact

Scott has played incredibly well of late for the Sixers, contributing a lot of minutes off the bench against the opposition's big men in the absence of Joel Embiid and Boban Marjanovich, both out with knee injuries. Scott's three-point shooting in particular has been clutch of late. He only shot 2-for-5 on Wednesday, but a huge defensive mistake like the one he made with less than four seconds to play could ultimately cost him precious playing time in coach Brett Brown's already-stacked rotation once Embiid and Marjanovich return.

Mike Scott adds nine points and three rebounds off bench in Sixers' win

Mike Scott scored all nine of this points from beyond the arc (on 3-of-7 shooting) while adding three rebounds and two blocked shots in the 76ers' 108-104 victory over the Thunder on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Scott certainly lived up to his "Threegional Manager" moniker on Thursday, connecting on three big triples in a tight contest from start to finish. Scott only had one assist on the night, but it was a big one as it ended in a wide-open dunk for Ben Simmons, which Simmons threw down with authority to give Philadelphia a jolt of energy. Scott's propensity for threes off the bench will likely come in handy the next time Philadelphia takes the floor as they host the defending champion Golden State Warriors Saturday night.

Mike Scott plays 19 minutes, scores eight off the bench Wednesday

Mike Scott led all Philadelphia bench players with 19 minutes Wednesday night, adding eight points in the Sixers' 126-111 victory over the Knicks to close out the portion of the season before the All-Star break.

Fantasy Impact

Scott took six three-pointers on Wednesday, by far the most he'd taken to this point as a member of the 76ers and the most he'd taken all year since launching seven in a game against Portland back in early December. It remains to be seen what kind of spot the "Threegional Manager" will retain in coach Brett Brown's rotation going forward, but for now, seeing him lead all non-starters in minutes in an encouragement for anyone looking for a cheap streaming option.
