Mitchell Robinson (ankle) to miss at least 6-to-8 weeks

Mitchell Robinson sustained a stress injury to his left ankle and will be re-evaluated in 6-to 8-weeks.

Fantasy Impact

Robinson appears to have re-injured the ankle he hurt earlier in the season. He is likely done for the postseason as a result. Precious Achiuwa should step into the backup role for the Knicks behind Isaiah Hartenstein.

Fantasy Impact

Mitchell Robinson (ankle) questionable for Tuesday

Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Fantasy Impact

Robinson missed New York's most recent game on Sunday because of an ankle injury, and he may miss Tuesday's game for the same reason. He's officially questionable to play, and it's unclear if he is trending in one direction or the other. Precious Achiuwa will once again see more work if the big man is unable to play.

Mitchell Robinson (ankle) misses practice Saturday

Mitchell Robinson was sidelined from practice on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact

Robinson injured his ankle in Game 3 and did not return. "We’ll see where he is tomorrow," Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said. If Robinson is sidelined, Precious Achiuwa should jump back into the rotation behind Isaiah Hartenstein.

Mitchell Robinson leaves Game 3, does not return

Mitchell Robinson was seemingly injured in the first quarter of Game 3 after being fouled by Joel Embiid- a foul that was deemed a flagrant 1 by the officiating crew. He stayed in the rotation until the end of the first half, but he was ruled out for the rest of the game shortly after halftime, and was seen in a walking boot after the game.

Fantasy Impact

Preliminary reports indicate that this is a re-aggravation of the same left ankle injury that had him listed as questionable coming into Game 3. At this time, the severity is unknown, so Robinson should be considered questionable for Game 4. His status is certainly worth keeping an eye on ahead of Game 4, as the Knicks are already low on depth in the frontcourt. If he is unable to go, expect Hartenstein to see an increase in minutes at the center position.
