Claxton took full advantage of Egor Demin (rest) and Michael Porter Jr. (knee) being sidelined, leading the team with 15 shot attempts and converting at an 80% clip. Claxton continues a modest stretch on both ends of the floor, finishing with four or more rebounds and four or more points in each of his last five games. The 26-year-old remains one of the more stable options in the Brooklyn lineup for fantasy managers, averaging 12.8 points, 4.0 assists, and 7.5 rebounds per game to go along with a usage rate of 17.2% so far this season.

Claxton couldn’t get much going, along with the rest of the Brooklyn Nets roster, on Wednesday. He was limited to four points but was able to partially offset his poor fantasy performance with two blocks. He will look to bounce back in Friday’s game against the Boston Celtics.

Claxton finished with 12 points on 6-of-8 shooting Monday while adding eight rebounds, six assists and one block in Brooklyn's loss to the Suns. The Nets' center is posting career-highs in both points and assists this season. Entering Monday's game with a 4.1 assists-per-game average, he's reached four or more dimes in six of his last seven appearances.

Over the past two weeks, Claxton has shot 40 percent from the free-throw line. His playmaking continued its recent surge Monday with the six assists against Phoenix.
