Toppin blew up for a career-high 35 points to lead the Knicks over the Wizards. It certainly helped that his volume increased significantly with RJ Barrett exiting the court early due to a right knee sprain. Barrett has already been ruled out for the season finale against the Raptors, so Toppin is bound for one more monster outing to put a bow on the season.

Obi Toppin scored 20 points (7-16 FG, 4-10 3PT, 2-2 FT) to go along with eight rebounds, three assists and one block on Sunday against the Magic.

Fantasy Impact

With Julius Randle likely sitting the last few games of the regular season for the Knicks, Toppin should continue to start the rest of the way. He has now scored 20 points in back-to-back games and should continue to see lots of scoring volume and opportunity to close the regular season.

Obi Toppin had 20 points, four rebounds, four assists, and a steal in 31 minutes on Saturday. The young forward shot 5-for-10 from the field while going a perfect 9-for-9 from the charity stripe in the loss to the Cavaliers.

With the Knicks out of the playoff hunt and Julius Randle out, Toppin got just his sixth start of the season. He has averaged 13.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game over his last seven outings and should get plenty of run over the last week of the season.

According to Knicks’ head coach Tom Thibodeau, Obi Toppin will be a game time decision for Friday’s contest against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The forward has missed the last four games while dealing with a hamstring injury but is probable in Friday’s contest against the Grizzlies. Expect the Dayton product to log in 15-20 minutes if cleared to play.
