Despite seeing only 15 minutes of action in the Heats loss Tuesday night Yurtseven saw a usage rate of 26.3% which was good for third most of all Heat players Tuesday night. The 23 year old center out of Georgetown has had big games this year when the Heat aren't fully healthy but has since been relegated to more of a bench role and is thus a risky option.
Omer Yurtseven (protocols) will be absent from the Heat lineup Monday night as they take on the Boston Celtics.
Yurtseven has entered the covid protocols and will now miss a few games. Yurtseven has not played much as of lately and should not be rostered at the moment.
Omer Yurtseven scored 17 points (7-9 Fg, 3-5 Ft) 11 rebounds, and four assists across 27 minutes in the Heat's 124-118 win over the Hawks from Miami on Friday night.
Yurtseven has been on a nice roll lately recording seven double-doubles in his last nine games. Unfortunately for him it looks as though Bam Adebayo could be returning to action as soon as Monday so it will be interesting to see what his role will be going forward. Miami will face a quick turnaround as they face the 76ers on Saturday night at home.
