Patrick Baldwin Jr. starting Sunday

Patrick Baldwin Jr. is starting for the Wizards on Sunday against the Heat.

Fantasy Impact

Baldwin will get the spot start in the absence of Kyle Kuzma. He remains a flier in deeper leagues at best.

Patrick Baldwin Jr. (ankle) questionable Saturday

Patrick Baldwin Jr. (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Fantasy Impact

The Wizards haven't had Baldwin in the lineup for two games because of an ankle injury that he's dealing with, and he's officially questionable to play on Saturday as well. His possible absence won't carry any major implications for fantasy purposes.

Patrick Baldwin Jr. traded to the Wizards

The Golden State Warriors have traded Patrick Baldwin Jr. as part of the Chris Paul-Jordan Poole trade.

Fantasy Impact

Baldwin was drafted by the Warriors in the first-round of the 2022 NBA Draft, but saw limited playing time his rookie season. He should be in a more favorable situation to see more playing time as part of a rebuilding Wizards team. He was dealing with a toe injury late this past season, but it shouldn't impact him for next year.

Patrick Baldwin Jr selected No. 28 by the Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have selected Patrick Baldwin Jr. with the No. 28 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.

Fantasy Impact

The reigning NBA champs continue to get richer with the addition of Balwin Jr. After battling through injuries during the 2021-22 season to play just 11 games, former five-star and top-10 prospect Patrick Baldwin Jr. declared for this year’s NBA Draft having averaged 12.1 PPG, 5.8 RPG, and 1.5 APG as a freshman. He struggled at the college level with his shooting but blew away scouts in workouts and with his overall measurements. His game remains a bit unpolished and he makes for a project but with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green in town, there is no rush for the rookie to play.
