Reed Sheppard filled the stat sheet for the Rockets Saturday, dishing out six assists, recording three steals, grabbing three rebounds, and scoring 16 points (7-12 FG, 1-4 3PT, 1-2 FT) in a 112-106 win over the Thunder.

Sheppard continues a modest stretch on the offensive end of the floor, finishing with six or more points in each of his last five games. The 21-year-old has made the most of his role in the Houston lineup to this point, averaging 12.5 points, 1.4 steals, and 3.0 assists per game to go along with a 20.7% usage rate so far this season.

Sheppard started Monday's game against the Pacers with Kevin Durant (ankle) out of the lineup, marking his first start since Dec. 1. He finished with 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting along with two rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and one three-pointer. All 11 of Sheppard's points came in the first half.

Durant's absence is not expected to be lengthy. If he remains sidelined for Wednesday's matchup with the Celtics, Sheppard could draw another start.

Sheppard bounced back from a couple games below 10 points with a 13 point performance and he also had his best Reb+Ast total since December. He doesn’t have a high ceiling, but he’s a fairly consistent contributor and is worth a look in deeper formats.

Sheppard had another good performance on Thursday night, leading Houston's second unit with 14 points despite seeing just 23 minutes of action. He should continue to be a good but not great fantasy option for the foreseeable future.

Sheppard finished with 21 points on 8-of-17 shooting Tuesday while adding four three-pointers, four assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block off the bench in Houston's victory over San Antonio. He converted one of two free-throw attempts and shot 5-of-10 from the field in the second half. The 21 points marked his highest scoring output since posting 28 in a December 20 win over Denver.
