Steve Novak has been waived by the Bucks in order to make room for Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert who were just acquired by trade for Miles Plumlee. Novak has played just 22 minutes all season, but teams may claim him to help them get to the salary cap floor.

It remains to be seen if Novak will find another team this season but he's always been able to knock down the three-pointer. Even if he gets claimed, he can left on the waiver wire.

Novak's put up double-digit points now in back-to-back games, but he still doesn't play enough minutes for this type of scoring proficiency to continue. He should be avoided still in all fantasy leagues.
