G - UTH
Talen Horton-Tucker collected 12 points (3-7 FG, 1-2 3PT, 5-6 FT), 10 assists, three rebounds and one block in 17 minutes of Saturday's 121-112 loss to the Jazz.
Horton-Tucker looked good on Saturday, turning in his first double-double of the season after playing just 17 minutes. The guard continues to see limited minutes for Utah, as Collin Sexton has been given a lot of the backcourt duties off the bench early in the season. Horton-Tucker should not be considered in fantasy given his current role.
Talen Horton-Tucker tallied 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-7 3PT, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in 28 minutes of Wednesday's 109-101 win over the Rockets.
Horton-Tucker played a season-high in minutes on Wednesday, as he hadn't cracked 20 minutes in their previous four games. Due to this, the 21-year-old hasn't carved out much of a role on this Utah team early in the season. However, he has shown flashes of talent like this throughout his career, so there may be a possibility of more minutes in his future. For now, however, he cannot be trusted in fantasy.
Talen Horton-Tucker recorded 15 points (4-16 FG, 1-4 3PT, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 34 minutes in Friday's win over the Thunder.
Horton-Tucker did not go for 40 again but remained productive in a winning effort. LeBron James is already ruled out while Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook are question marks for Sunday. If Anthony and Westbrook are unable to go, THT should get an opportunity to stay productive when the Lakers visit the Nuggets on Sunday.
Talen Horton-Tucker recorded 40 points (15-28 FG, 2-6 3PT, 8-9 FT), three rebounds, three assists and four steals across 37 minutes in Thursday's 128-112 loss to the Warriors.
Talen Horton-Tucker has been playing through an ankle sprain for weeks and this is, by far, his best performance of the season. Thursday's 40 points were a career high for the Iowa State product who more than quadrupled his season average of 9.3 points. THT will look to use the final two Lakers games to show the brass what they have in him heading into the offseason so feel free to run him out there in your DFS lineups as he could have a couple more games like this in him over the weekend.
Talen Horton-Tucker (ankle) will play in Sunday's contest against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Tucker continues to battle the results of a left-ankle sprain he sustained earlier this season, but he appears to be improving and will be good to go for Sunday's game. He will remain a fringe flex option at best, barring an unforeseen change in the Lakers' rotation.
