Taylor Hendricks has been traded to the Memphis Grizzlies along with a host of other assets in a blockbuster move for Jaren Jackson Jr.
Fantasy Impact
This is a huge deal that is seeing Hendricks, Walter Clayton Jr., Kyle Anderson, Georges Niang, and three future first round picks traded to Memphis for Jackson, John Konchar, and Vince Williams to the Jazz. Hendricks hasn’t caught on in Utah after being a former lottery selection, so a change of scenery in Memphis on a now rebuilding roster could do him some good. He’s still off th board for fantasy at the moment, but worth keeping an eye on now.
Taylor Hendricks drew the start against Boston on Tuesday but failed to make a significant impact, finishing with just three points (1-of-4 FGs), three rebounds, two assists, and a three-pointer in 17 minutes.
Fantasy Impact
Despite the opportunity to join the first unit, the former lottery pick couldn't get much going and saw limited playing time as a result. Hendricks has shown flashes this season but remains inconsistent. Until he can carve out a steady role and deliver reliable production, he is best left on the waiver wire in standard redraft leagues, though dynasty managers may still want to hold onto him for his long-term potential.

Fantasy Impact
Hendricks had himself a nice game after scoring a combined 14 points in his previous three. He's able to have these sort of ceiling performances, but it's a matter of being on top of knowing when he will get an expanded role, as all three of his games this season with more than 14+ points have come in games where he has played at least 25 minutes.
