Terrence Jones will not sign with the Pelicans who instead signed Emeka Okafor to a 10-day deal.
Jones is now back in the mix for a late-season deal but is unlikely to make a fantasy impact this season.
Terrence Jones will agree to return to the Pelicans this season after spending time with them last season. Jones will sign a 10-day deal and could be in line for minutes behind Nikola Mirotic, Dante Cunningham, and Anthony Davis.
Jones will be off the fantasy radar at this point as he wasn't much of a fantasy option last season when he signed on with the team. Leave him on the wire right now especially with Mirotic now in New Orleans.
Terrence Jones will play in China next season after spending time with the Bucks and Pelicans this past season. Jones could return down the stretch for a team in need of a stretch four.
Jones had a down season in 2015-2016 and once DeMarcus Cousins arrived in New Orleans, he was waived. The Pelicans couldn't even get a second-round pick for him. He could return to the NBA but has no fantasy value.
Terrence Jones has been waived by the Bucks.
Jones has played just four minutes since signing on with the Bucks even with Jabari Parker and Michael Beasley injured. Beasley is now back, so the team prefers to go him and Mirza Teletovic behind Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Terrence Jones has officially signed on with the Bucks for the remainder of the season. Axel Toupane has been waived in a corresponding move. Jones will likely miss Saturday's game but should be available Monday against the 76ers. Jones could see minutes right off the bat with Jabari Parker out for the season, Michael Beasley out with a knee injury and no clear stretch four alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Jones is certainly worth a look for fantasy owners as he could easily see 20-plus minutes a game especially while Michael Beasley is still out. This news takes the biggest hit for Mirza Teletovic who just hasn't produced at a high-level this season. As always this holds no effect for the Greek Freak's fantasy season.
