Timofey Mozgov (knee) will be out indefinitely

Timofey Mozgov underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure on his right knee on Friday and will be out indefinitely.

Fantasy Impact

Mo Bamba is locked in as Nikola Vucevic's backup this season. Bamba would be a must-add if Vuc was traded before the deadline.

Timofey Mozgov has been traded to the Magic

Timofey Mozgov has now been traded from the Hornets to the Magic. Mozgov was moved in the Dwight Howard deal to Brooklyn.

Fantasy Impact

Mozgov will be a backup if he remains on the roster this season so he has no fantasy value.

Timofey Mozgov has been traded to the Hornets

Timofey Mozgov has been traded to the Hornets in exchange for C Dwight Howard plus two future second-round draft picks and cash considerations.

Fantasy Impact

Howard just can't remain on a team for very long as he is now a member of the Nets. The Hornets are looking to rebuild and could also deal Kemba Walker. Mozgov is way off the fantasy radar but this move leaves little in Charlotte.

Timofey Mozgov invisible in Brooklyn Nets win

Timofey Mozgov started but only played 16 minutes. He had four points and six rebounds.

Fantasy Impact

The young prospect Jarrett Allen outplayed him, while coming off the bench. The Nets will continue to start Mozgov in hopes of upping his trade value, but Allen will likely be the starter once the trade deadline passes. Mozgov is not worth rostering in any format, but Allen should be on the radar of most fantasy owners.

Timofey Mozgov has been traded to the Nets

Timofey Mozgov has been traded to the Nets as part of the D'Angelo Russell for Brook Lopez swap on Tuesday. The Nets also give the Lakers a first round draft pick in this upcoming draft. Mozgov could be starting in Brooklyn next season.

Fantasy Impact

It would come as no surprise to anyone if the Nets decide to cut bait with his ridiculous salary at some point this season. However, he's poised to start and/or complete for the starting job with Justin Hamilton, a free agent or a draft pick.
