Availability
Tyler Kolek has been upgraded to available for Monday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Fantasy Impact
Kolek was originally downgraded to questionable with a sore right ankle, but will be available for Monday’s contest. Between the lingering soreness and the return of Miles McBride (ankle), Kolek is expected to see a reduction in playing time.
Tyler Kolek was added to the injury report as questionable for Monday's game against the Pelicans.
Fantasy Impact
It usually isn't a good sign when a player is a late add to the injury report. If Kolek is sidelined, Miles McBride is likely to jump back into his backup role behind Jalen Brunson.
Tyler Kolek scored 20 points (9-22 FG, 2-6 3PT) to go along with 11 rebounds, eight assists and three steals in the Knicks 115-104 loss against the Wolves.
Fantasy Impact
Kolek took full advantage of the spot start with Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby sidelined. He recorded career-highs in both points and rebounds. He should continue to see minutes at point guard behind Brunson when he is healthy.
Tyler Kolek scored 16 points (7-10 FG, 2-4 3PT) to go with 11 assists and six rebounds in Thursday's 114-113 win over the Indiana Pacers.
Fantasy Impact
Kolek had another great game on Thursday night. This time, he scored 16 points on phenomenal efficiency through his 26 minutes of action and also fell just four rebounds shy of a triple-double. He has almost certainly earned a bigger role for himself moving forward, but his upside will be capped a bit whenever Miles McBride (ankle) and Josh Hart (abdominal) are back in the lineup for the Knicks.
Tyler Kolek scored 14 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3PT, 2-2 FT) to go with five rebounds and five assists in Tuesday's 124-113 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
Fantasy Impact
Kolek isn't usually very involved for the Knicks, but on Tuesday night he saw 20 minutes of action and made the most out of them. He scored 14 points on great efficiency and was also able to contribute well as a facilitator and rebounder. He will quickly earn a more prominent role for himself if he continues to produce at a level close to this.
