Availability
Zach Edey (nasal) will be available to play in Wednesday's game against the Charlotte Hornets.
Fantasy Impact
The big man will be available to play on Wednesday. He's listed on Memphis injury report due to a nasal injury, but he will be able to play through it with a face mask. He hasn't been an effective fantasy option recently, so fantasy managers should temper expectations for the rookie for the foreseeable future.
Zach Edey (concussion) is off of the injury report for Saturday's game against the Golden State Warriors.
Fantasy Impact
The big man previously missed time due to a concussion, but he has cleared the NBA's concussion protocols and has been removed from the injury report entirely. He will play on Saturday and should continue to see a nice workload in Memphis' rotation for the foreseeable future.
Zach Edey provided 9 points in 22 minutes, shooting 4-of-10 from the floor and 1-of-2 from the line. He grabbed 7 rebounds (3 offensive), added 1 block, and committed 1 turnover, finishing with a plus/minus of 0.
Fantasy Impact
The towering rookie continues to show flashes, particularly on the boards and on defense. His limited offensive repertoire may cap his upside for now, but he’s worth a look in deeper leagues for rebounds and blocks. If he secures more playing time, he could develop into a solid streaming option.
Zach Edey (concussion) is officially questionable to play in Friday's game against the Sacramento Kings.
Fantasy Impact
Edey is currently going through the NBA's concussion protocols and has missed Memphis' last two games as a result. He's questionable and will have a chance to play on Friday, but it remains to be seen whether or not he will be cleared in time. His return would mean significantly less work for Jay Huff moving forward.
Zach Edey has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Suns.
Fantasy Impact
Edey will miss another game as he remains in concussion protocol. John Konchar should see another spot start with Brandon Clarke also sidelined.
