Kennedy Chandler traded to Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies announced they have acquired the draft rights to Tennessee’s Kennedy Chandler from the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for a 2024 second round pick.
Chandler averaged 13.9 points, 4.7 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.18 steals in 30.8 minutes last season for Tennessee. He also shot 46.4% from the field and 38.3% from deep while earning Second Team All-SEC honors. Chandler was the 38th overall pick in Thursday’s draft and the 2024 pick he was traded for came via the Los Angeles Lakers. Chandler could provide good guard depth behind Ja Morant and Desmond Bane and could produce quality minutes off the bench.
