Frank Kaminsky makes big impact again on Sunday
Frank Kaminsky has been unstoppable lately for Charlotte, as he again posted a scoring mark in the double-digits on Sunday. He contributed 15 points, four rebounds, and a steal. Kaminsky has gone on an unexpected run since the return from the All-Star break, which featured six straight games with double-figure scoring, including 15 or more points in four of them.
Nicolas Batum continues solid play against Toronto
Nicolas Batum's play has been nothing short of spectacular over the past few weeks, and Sunday was no different. He had 10 points, eight assists, and six rebounds, and it seems like every game he flirts with a triple-double. He's also getting it done on the defensive side of the floor, as Sunday's game marked his 11th straight with at least one steal.
Kemba Walker with another big scoring outing Sunday
Virtually every game, Walker seems to be the only bright spot on the floor for the Hornets, who have had a lot of disappointing moments on the year. On Sunday, he had 27 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Walker's next game is Tuesday at home versus the 76ers.
Dwight Howard bounces back against Raptors
Dwight Howard had a disappointing effort on Friday night against Philadelphia, but he got right back on track Sunday in Toronto. Howard had exactly 10 each in the scoring and rebounding categories, for his 39th double-double on the season. He played 24 minutes on the night.
Frank Kaminsky continues run of solid play on Wednesday
Frank Kaminsky has looked like a different player for the Hornets coming out the All-Star break. In what was marked as a season full of inconsistency going into the break, he has since found some consistency coming out of it, averaging 13.4 points in the five-game span. On Wednesday, he scored 16 points to go along with three rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes of action.
Nicolas Batum contributes in multiple ways against Celtics
Nicolas Batum has been playing exceptional basketball as of late, and is doing so in just about every stat category. On Wednesday, he only scored seven points, but made up for it with 10 assists, five rebounds, two steals, and a block. He continues to see high minute totals, playing 29 on the night.
Kemba Walker takes care of business as usual on Wednesday
Kemba Walker had 23 points and five assists on Wednesday against the Celtics, in a great point guard matchup between Kyrie Irving and himself. Irving outplayed Walker on the night, but Walker was still able to post his fourth game with at least 23 points in his last five. He only played 25 minutes on the night, but this was most likely due to the game getting out of hand in the second half.
Dwight Howard scores 20-plus against Boston
Coming into the game, Dwight Howard had been a little bothered by a rib injury, but he was able to play, and saw a healthy dose of minutes. Although he had a slow night on the boards, with three rebounds, he scored 21 points on an impressive 10-of-15 shooting from the field. It was the first time this year that Howard had less than five rebounds while playing at least 20 minutes, but on the bright side, it was his third highest scoring total over the past month.
After being listed as questionable earlier in the day, the Hornets went ahead and ruled Michael-Kidd Gilchrist out with left hamstring soreness. The small forward is usually a starter for the squad, and with his absence, Treveon Graham will slot in to make his second start of the season.

Frank Kaminsky delivers again on Sunday
Whatever it is, Frank Kaminsky has found something that clicks since the All-Star break, as he is averaging 13.3 points, six rebounds, and three assists over the three-game span. On Sunday, he had 13 points and eight boards, his best rebounding performance over the last month. Maybe it's just an aberration, but he's also seeing minutes in the 20's in each of the games.
Cody Zeller makes big impact against Detroit on Sunday
Cody Zeller looked as good as he has all season on Sunday against the Pistons. He finished with 13 points and five rebounds, and his 13 points were the highest he has scored in a single game since his return from a left-knee injury in early February. He also played 20-plus minutes for the second consecutive game, so maybe Zeller is turning a corner.
Nicolas Batum lights up the stat-sheet against Pistons
Nicolas Batum was everywhere Sunday afternoon against Detroit, and his name was everywhere in the box score too. He had 15 points, nine assists, five rebounds, three steals, and a block. This was one of Batum's best performances on the season, or at least since his triple-double in late January. Batum has found some momentum in the last few games, and with the Hornets staying competitive, he will have every opportunity to make that continue.
