Ezekiel Elliott doesn't play in Week 17

by Blake Glosson | Mon, Jan 2nd 2:26am EST

Ezekiel Elliott did not record a snap against the Eagles in Week 17. The Cowboys decided to rest their star RB with the top seed in the NFC and first-round bye already locked up.

Fantasy Impact:

'Zeke finished his first NFL regular season just six yards shy of 2,000 all-purpose yards, with 1,631 yards rushing and 363 yards receiving in 15 games. He also had 15 rushing TDs and one receiving TD. The rookie's breakout campaign was a major reason why the 'Boys finished on top in the NFC, and why many fantasy owners won their fantasy championships. He seems to be locked in as a top-5 fantasy pick in 2017 drafts.
