NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting the Buffalo Bills are not picking up wide receiver Sammy Watkins' fifth-year option. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
As expected, the Bills are declining Watkins' fifth-year option. The 23-year-old wideout has battled injuries throughout his three-year career, missing 11 games since the 2014 season. While only playing in eight games last season, Watkins produced a meager 28-430-2 stat line, all career lows. However, with a new regime in Buffalo, Watkins could be in line for a bounce-back year in 2017, especially if his health remains intact.
