Philip Rivers in better shape with new strength coach

Philip Rivers has lost 10 pounds during this year's conditioning program and head coach Anthony Lynn says he looks rejuvenated. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Rivers hasn't been the best fantasy quarterback over the past few years, but he has a quality receiving corps with Mike Williams now in the mix. Not much else is working in his favor though, as Melvin Gordon stole a lot of his red-zone production last year and might do the same this year, the offensive line provides shaky protection, and the defense is improving, so if they stay healthy, the offense won't be forced to pass the ball as often. If he is in much better shape and goes back to his less turnover-prone days, he might end up being a quality low-end QB1.
