Cam Newton may not play week 1

Citing "league sources", ProFootballTalk is reporting that Newton is unlikely to play against Tampa Bay. He suffered a rib injury in week 3 of the preseason and has been unable to practice much since going down. (ProFootballTalk)
Fantasy Impact:
At this point, fantasy owners would be wise to look for alternatives to Cam in week 1. There's still an outside chance he could suit up but it's too risky to slot him in your lineups. Carolina and Tampa Bay are slated to kick off at 4:25pm EST.
