Fantasy Impact:

In the wake of Jeremy Maclin's release last Friday -- it became official Monday -- Hill is the Chiefs' top wideout for the 2017 season. Hill, who is entering his second year in the NFL, is coming off of an impressive rookie season in 2016. He accumulated a 61-593-6 stat line while averaging a meager 9.7 YPC as a receiver and 267 yards and three touchdowns while averaging 11.1 YPC as a rusher. Hill is also a fine special teams ace tallying three return scores. From a fantasy football perspective, only time will tell if Hill could emerge as a No. 1 wideout in the league. Some, believe he is too gadgety for the spot but he showcased enough last season to garner the opportunity. He should be viewed a middling WR2 for the upcoming campaign with monster upside if he can learn the "Z" position.
