Jets re-sign Lankster

The New York Jets have re-signed special teams standout Ellis Lankster a day after waiving cornerback Leon McFadden. Lankster was released by the Jets at the beginning of the month - a surprising move because the cornerback had been a primary backup in the secondary and a major contributor on special teams. (YES)
Fantasy Impact:
With special teams being the reason for the signing of Lankster, he probably has little to no fantasy value - unless the Jets happen to run into another cornerback epidemic. Even then it would be better to stay clear of the former Bills player.
