Williams, 34, recently made his pro wrestling debut on Impact Wrestling. However, his brief stint in the ring doest not mean his NFL career is over. He told the media that he intends to play in 2017. If Williams does, in fact, make his way back on the field this season, he'll likely have to wait until an injury occurs to a rusher on one of the league's 32 teams to be considered for a roster spot. I don't expect him to be signed before the start of the regular season.
