Mike Adams (stinger) had solid game before exiting Week 9

Mike Adams wasn't lighting up the tackles but did record an interception that he returned for 40 yards and added one tackle with another pass defended. He did leave with a stinger after landing on his shoulder in the fourth quarter. His effort in the win did earn him the game ball for Carolina.
Fantasy Impact:
As solid as the game report is it isn't exactly a great result for fantasy purposes. Adams had a string of relevant games for his fantasy owners when Kurt Coleman was sidelined with a knee issue early in the season. But once Coleman returned to the productive free safety position in Carolina's defense he has returned to a lower tier fantasy option. According to reports, Adams will have X-rays to diagnosis the degree of his stinger. Fantasy owners who may still be relying on him will want to monitor his situation. If he is to miss any length of time owners shouldn't have a problem replacing his production for fantasy purposes.
