Tyrod Taylor to remain Bills starter in Week 13

by Anthony Cervino | Chargers Correspondent | Mon, Nov 27th 5:22pm EST

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott told the press Tyrod Taylor will remain the team's starting quarterback for Week 13. (Bills News on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Although Taylor will start in Sunday's matchup against the Patriots, McDermott would not commit to him as their QB1 beyond that point. Entering a matchup that is expected to be one-sided favoring New England, Taylor could produce quality fantasy numbers in garbage time. He's an upside QB2 for Week 13.

Taylor will be a nice streaming option this week against the Patriots. Look for the Pats to take out McCoy in the running game, leaving Taylor having to throw more than they'd like him to. The Patriots secondary has been better of late, but could still be beat, and the use of his own running ability adds that extra bonus to his fantasy production. He doesn't have the upside of some other streaming options, but he has the better floor.

If Taylor can hold onto this role, he has some solid matchups coming up down the stretch. He's a borderline QB1 for this coming week against the Patriots.
